How to clear snow from a tent
It looks like there is a snow storm in the forecast, and we need to be sure that snow doesn't accumulate on the tent. There are several ways to handle the snow:
Heat the tent to 70 degrees during any snowfall to melt the snow off the tent as it falls. This is the easiest method and it's what we recommend. Please take a moment to be sure that your propane tanks are at least 50% full so that they don't run empty during the snow storm.
Remove the snow manually yourself. This saves cost, but it is very time consuming and requires someone to be onsite 24/7 to keep the tent clear of snow. It is also very important to use a tool that is soft and not sharp so that the tent is not damaged. A soft broom or plastic snow rake works well. If you'd like us to remove the snow for you, we may be able to arrange that. Just call us to discuss.
Feel free to call us to discuss the details. We are on call 24/7. So, please let us know right away if you have any issues with your tent or the heaters.
